CROSSROADS OF CHANGE

Crossroads of Change; Educating Afghanistan's Tomorrow, March 23

Join us for an online dialogue to discuss the current situation of education for girls and solutions. March 23rd is the first day of the school year in Afghanistan, and it is not clear if girls will be allowed to go back to school and continue their secondary and tertiary education.

You will hear from our online students facing challenges and barriers to continuing their education. You will also hear from our “From the Streets to Classroom” project students, who will share their experiences of being in school in the past year.

Our guest, Ambassador Neumann, will share his insight and experience in Afghanistan in 1967. He served as the US Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2005-2007.  From 2010 to 2021, he visited Afghanistan every year.

This dialogue aims to raise awareness and support for the educational needs and aspirations of the Afghan people, especially the women and girls who are most affected by the current situation.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about this vital issue and how you can help.
