From Streets to Classrooms: Empowering Children

Smiling young girl in the classroom.

We enroll street-working children in private schools so they can discover their potential and break the cycle of poverty. Our mission is to reach the most under-served boys and girls, giving them access to quality education while easing the burden on their families.

Because these children often earn money by begging, collecting recyclables, selling pens, or polishing shoes, we compensate their families with a monthly food package. The results have been transformative—see Ali’s story for an example.

What each student receives

  • Transportation to and from school

  • Lunch every day

  • Uniform and basic school supplies

  • After-lunch homework support

Support for families

  • Monthly food deliveries that replace the income the child once brought home

Together, these services give street-working children the chance to learn, thrive, and build a brighter future.
